Diploma Programs
The Northwest Technical Institute currently offers nine diploma programs in the health services, industrial and information systems fields.
NWTI’s diploma programs are twelve to eighteen months in length and provide students the opportunity to quickly prepare for employment in the workforce in some of Arkansas’ largest sectors.
High School Programs
The NWTI Secondary Career Center (SCC) is a secondary career and technology center that serves the public schools in Northwest Arkansas. We provide training for current high school students to earn high school credit in career and technical fields.
The SCC is available to junior and senior high school students. The SCC is supported by the Arkansas State Department of Career Education. We provide students with access to high quality career and technical certification programs and concurrent college academics
Adult Education
The Adult Education Center at NWTI offers free instruction to adults who need to obtain a high school equivalency diploma (GED®) or wish to improve basic academic skills.
Classes are also offered for non-native speaking adults who desire to speak, read, and write the English language, or obtain United States Citizenship. In addition, academic computer skill training, workplace training and WAGE certifications, career support, and test preparation assistance are available.

Northwest Technical Institute has provided quality educational opportunities for individuals across Northwest Arkansas since 1976. If you are looking for training that will improve your professional skills or for personal enrichment, NWTI wants to help!
The Northwest Technical Institute offers many Professional Development and Community Education courses throughout the year. We offer flexible schedules with both in-person and online training for individuals and business.

The philosophy of the postsecondary career and technical schools in the State of Arkansas is to serve the training needs of all individuals who wish to enter a recognized occupation or, for those who have already entered an occupation, to upgrade or update their occupational skills and knowledge so that they may achieve stability or advancement in employment and to provide academic instructions so that they may attain advancement or create for themselves a better life.
